Causeway Hosts Youth Speed Networking Event with OCCSC

On Tuesday, Causeway had the pleasure of hosting a Youth Speed Networking event in collaboration with our partners at the Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre and what an incredible turnout it was.

Participants had the opportunity to meet with employers across various sectors, practice real interview questions, and gain confidence in a supportive, professional environment.

I was highly impressed by how prepared, professional, and poised these participants were. Many of them interviewed better than some candidates I’ve met with 20+ years of experience; a true testament to their dedication and potential.

Afterwards, we were able to offer personalized feedback, helping participants strengthen their communication skills and build on an already impressive foundation.

A big thank-you to the team at OCCSC for their collaboration, coordination, and commitment to empowering youth. We look forward to continuing these ventures together and creating even more opportunities for young people in our community.

Congratulations to all the youth who took part. Your futures are bright, and we’re grateful to have been part of your journey.
