Causeway empowers ALL people by helping those with mental illness and other challenges find meaningful work. We believe there is no limit to anyone's potential. By leveraging talents and abilities, we work to shift society's perspective regarding people whose value has not yet been recognized.

A Legacy of Empowerment
Founded in Ottawa, Causeway Work Centre has been a cornerstone of employment services in our community for over four decades. What started as a small initiative to help people with mental health challenges find work has grown into a comprehensive organization serving thousands of individuals each year.
Our approach is simple but powerful: we see the person, not the barrier. We believe that everyone has valuable skills and talents to offer, and our job is to help employers see that potential too.
Today, Causeway operates multiple programs and three social enterprises, creating real-world employment opportunities while providing essential services to our community.
