Employment Specialist

About the Role

As an Employment Specialist at Causeway, you will play a vital role in helping individuals facing barriers find and maintain meaningful employment. You'll work directly with clients to understand their goals, develop employment plans, and connect them with job opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized employment plans
• Provide job search support including resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies
• Develop relationships with employers and identify job opportunities
• Provide ongoing support to clients after job placement
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with team members and community partners

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in social services, human resources, or related field
• 2+ years experience in employment services or related field
• Knowledge of local labour market and employment resources
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working with individuals facing barriers to employment
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
